Why do certain products appear more expensive, trustworthy or appealing - even when the underlying brand is exactly the same?

Through visual experiments, audience games and familiar real-world examples, this interactive talk explores how typography, shape, colour, packaging and branding influence the assumptions we make in seconds. We’ll also examine the Kiki/Bouba effect and how our brains instinctively connect visual cues with qualities, emotions and meaning.

The goal isn’t to stop design from influencing us - it’s to become more aware of when and how it happens. No design background is required.
