Erdővédő Foundation appointed the walnut tree to be the tree of the year! Such, this spring we are looking forward to welcoming you all to Csobánkapuszta for a special event, "Planting The Great Walnut Tree". We hope to see you on this occasion, where the walnut tree symbolizes the results of our joint work and stands to draw attention on the importance of trees and protection of nature.
Numerous organizations dealing with sustainability, eco lifestyle and environmental protection will be represented at the event, as one of the most important goals of our Foundation is to connect and encourage cooperation among those fighting for a similar goal.
The event will be located on an area that belongs to Erdővédő Foundation. We have been afforesting and landscaping this space for years, where on this occasion, the big walnut tree will be the festive decoration. Our goal is to plant this tree together and thus emphasize the importance of taking care of a clean and healthy environment that is important for our future.
Each participating organization will receive a sister tree, which they can plant at their own area, so the message of the walnut tree, and thus our vision can spread even more widely.
