The concert invites you for silence…. inner silence. For looking out, for each other, but mostly for ourselves. To the very inside… The compositions are not aiming to flaunt you, cause dismay or anger, they aim to get to you, into you sound by sound.

The program features the compositions of Estonian contemporary composers and the poems of Hungarian poets set to music.

“Edina Szirtes Mókus is one of the quirkiest characters on the Hungarian world-music scene. Her cocktail is very rare: she is virtuosically accomplished, but she is one hundred percent a natural personality. Sometimes she plays in folk style, chanson style, eastern or contemporary, but her rugged violin tirades can be recognised from a hundred, her sweeping-raw singing voice is rises above any current. Love and Chinese philosophy, climbing in the sky walking on the ground, mystery and toughness…”
