The song is ours: a joint concert series by Vörös Neon and XLNT Booking and Records. Every Wednesday, we prepare evenings where music is not just background noise, but something that happens. We don't think in terms of genres, but in terms of presence and stories.
At the age of eighteen, Ripoff Raskolnikov traveled around Europe as a street musician. From the folk music of the continent, he arrived at the world of songwriting rooted in American folklore—the tradition that defines the music of Bob Dylan and Tom Waits. He has been an integral part of the Hungarian music scene since November 1987: a suggestive performer with a distinctive presence. His songs cover the full spectrum of human emotions: love, passion, loss, the weight of everyday life, and living life to the fullest.
