Margaret Chardiet aka Pharmakon was born and raised in New York City, where she has been a figurehead in the underground experimental electronics and power industrial scene since the age of seventeen. Her fourth full length record on Sacred Bones, Devour marks her most intense output to date using imagery and language of self-cannibalism as allegory for the self-destructive nature of humans, while also explores new sonic territory, with denser electronics, groovier hooks, and moments of her most unhinged vocal deliveries to date. Pharmakon's live performances are rarely experienced powerful events.
Group A is a Japanese experimental-industrial-noise music and performance act formed in 2012 by Tommi Tokyo. Their early shows came as a shock to most audiences with a mixture of avant-garde noise, intense poetry reading and performance art. The duo moved to Berlin in 2015, since then they released records through Mannequin Records, Kashual Plastik and Mecanica Records. As the violinist Sayaka goes on a long break, Tommi Tokyo makes a fresh start in 2019 with her new solo performance shows.
