Let the joy, love, and Gypsy music flow!

The current ensemble has been playing together since 1995. The band’s repertoire consists of a blend of traditional folk music drawn from various dialects of Gypsy folklore. The songs reflect the full range of Gypsy emotions; among them are slow, ballad-like tunes, “botoló” songs, and lively dance melodies that serve as dance accompaniment for various occasions. In addition to traditional songs, their repertoire also includes modern songs. The band writes and performs its own new songs. They also use original techniques, such as the “mouth bass” and the aluminum water jug, which are known only in authentic Romani folk music.
