⊕ OMOH moves is a series of workshops created for LGBTQ+ people. A major part of the program consists of movement practices that are mostly exercise in separative and mostly heteronormative environment and therefore are hardly approachable for queer people. Additionally, the event may also contain workshops of queer practices such as drag, vogueing or waacking.
◖The very first OMOH MOVES is a folk dance workshop. We will spend an afternoon together dancing and learning the authentic movements of the Hungarian tradition with the glorious queer folk dance divas Balázs Oláh and Júlia Vavra. If you have ever been interested in learning folk dance, but you never had the chance, support or the proper circumstances to try it yourself, this workshop is made for you

◖The workshop is designed to
establish a safe space for queer people to move/use their body in
create a community / expand the OMOH community towards non-partygoers
find access to practices where queer people were excluded from or felt unsafe exercising
◖As long as we can establish a safe environment for everyone, OMOH moves remains a non-separatist space. This is a queer event, which tries to be inclusive for everyone, even if you are not part of the LGBTQ+ community, you are welcome to join, as long as you can respect and share our values and a queer space.
◖The workshop lasts for 2 hours including a small brake.
