In the beginning of January 2017, guitarist Jay Maas (known for his milestone releases with Defeater) reached out to his friend, Quinn Murphy (known as the lyricist and singer of Verse) with the idea of forming a new band (which was initially called as Death of a Nation). Jay has recorded and produced numerous releases at Gateway Studios for artists such as Bane, Counterparts, Title Fight and many others. After leaving Defeater, he spent enough time behind the scenes working on new tracks, therefore he also teamed up with founding drummer of Defeater, Andy Reitz, guitarist Matthew Spence and bass player Dave Alcan.

Love Letter, their band wasn't bound by any genre boundaries, and they audibly push their boundaries by purpose. Their music is extremely emotional and seriously mind-moving, just as Murphy's ever-renewing lyrics. And there's no question that a band with members with such a milage also have exceptional live performances. Love Letter's music can equally touch the fans of hardcore, post-hardcore, screamo and other emotive sub-genres of punk rock. Their debut album 'Everyone Wants Something Beautiful' is already out.

As for their local support, Satelles will join them, highlighting their latest EP 'Arcadia', and it will be their only club show in Budapest this Summer. The evening will be opened by Seasons of Mists, one of the hardest-working screamo / emo-violence acts from our underground community.
