Catch indie darling Kolibri and his band's only club concert in Budapest in the fall on the 24th of October!
Behind the name Kolibri stands András Bognár, one of the most captivating new voices of the Hungarian alternative music scene. His Hungarian-language, introspective songs blend elements of indie and electronic music, creating an intimate, melancholic atmosphere where listeners are invited to turn inward and immerse themselves in their own inner worlds.
Kolibri’s 2023 debut album, Nagyon Jó, Nagyon Rossz, Nagyon Jó (“Very Good, Very Bad, Very Good”), received both critical acclaim and audience praise, leading to sold-out club shows and major festival appearances. He is the creator of the Végtelen Jövő Hajógyár Anthem and has released collaborations with Hundred Sinsel, Co Lee, TEMBO, and the Wawy collective.
By 2024, Kolibri had evolved from a solo project into a three-piece live band, embarking on a nationwide tour that concluded with two sold-out shows at Budapest’s A38 Ship. In spring 2025, they released their second album, Rúnák (“Runes”), celebrated with a sold-out album launch at the Akvárium Club (NagyHall) and a subsequent tour across Hungary. Alongside their strong presence in Budapest, the band aims to build and maintain a dedicated audience across the country, remaining a regular feature of Hungary’s major festival line-ups.
Would you like me to make it more press-release style (snappier, for media use) or more artistic/poetic (for international showcases or festival brochures)?
