IAMYANK is probably the perfect example in today’s Hungarian music scene of how self-expression and the realisation of an artistic vision aren’t truly limited by tools – be that instrument, style or technique. But what is it like when the absolute centre is nothing more than a single piano?

His new album, STNTLN, out on 10 October, began life as a 90-minute concert programme with extensive piano interludes. Drawing from these pieces – and the album’s overall mood – iamyank is curating a special evening, where he’ll also speak about how the record was made.
