In July, Krakow band Groovosophers embarks on an international tour of Central Europe as a septet, playing in: Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary and Slovakia.


The 8th concert on the tour will take place at Három Holló/Drei Raben in Budapest/Hungary on August 8th at 8:00 p.m.


Co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland.


The band will be accompanied by special guests on the tour (both took a part in the recording of band's debut album):

Satish Robertson – trumpet - a New York virtuoso, known for performing with the James Carter Quintet and associated with the Brooklyn jazz scene

Patryk Zakrzewski – percussion, collaborating with Ula Dudziak and Mika Urbaniak, among others

Groovosophers:

Tomasz Karaszewski - tenor saxophone

Filip Wyrwa - acoustic and electric guitar, analog guitar synthesizer

Grzegorz Madej - Hammond, keyboards

Marcin Essen - bass

Grzegorz Bauer - drums

Groovosophers concerts are a musical journey through groove, trance and expression - a perfect proposition for both jazz lovers and open improvised music lovers. The band feels at home on both club stages and outdoor festivals.
