The Slovenian stargaze band Gnoomes is coming to Budapest to present their new album! Behind the term «stargaze» lies a unique blend of Krautrock, shoegaze, and techno. Known for driving motorik rhythms, pulsing electronics, and guitars that are simultaneously atmospheric and aggressive, the group is signed to the U.K.-based label Rocket Recordings. Following their 2015 debut, Ngan!, the musicians incorporated psychedelic elements and dance beats into their sound on subsequent releases, such as 2017’s Tschak! and 2023’s Ax Ox.

Sóvárgás was formed as a bedroom project in 2020 by Holt Lenszkij and Gábor Varsás. Shortly after releasing „Nem ezt akarta“ (They did not want this) and „Mégis megtalált az ősz“ (Still, fall found me) the project went on a five year hiatus. In 2025 they reformed, and were joined by Norbert Tóth on bass, gigging regularly since then. Their music takes inspiration from drum machine-driven industrial and gothic rock as well as the Hungarian underground dark/alternative/avant-garde rock scene of the 1980s. Their arts poetica is to bring more pseudoscience into pop music.
