EDN Atelier: Who Do You Stand For?

16-17 November 2026 | Budapest | SÍN Arts Centre

18 November 2026 | Budapest | Trafó

Organised by SÍN Arts Centre, this three-day EDN Atelier explores the question of representation. On Wednesday, 18 November, from 14:00 to 16:00, the programme opens up to dunaPart Platform participants, creating an opportunity to connect the Atelier’s questions and experiences with the wider dunaPart community.

In our professional lives, we often speak and act on behalf of others — artists, collectives, organisations, communities or a wider professional field. But what does it mean to represent others, and what responsibilities come with such a position?

The Atelier explores representation through the questions of positionality, mandate, responsibility, trust and accountability. International and Hungarian artists and performing arts professionals will come together to share experiences, examine professional dilemmas and explore different approaches to representation and advocacy.

Rather than looking for a single model of “good representation”, the Atelier creates a space for collective inquiry, exchange and reflection.
