Let's celebrate the 30th Budapest Pride Festival together!

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Budapest Pride, we are thrilled to invite you to our LGBTQ-focused International Human Rights Conference. It serves as a unique opportunity to reaffirm our shared values of democracy, equality and human dignity.This three-day conference will bring together a diverse group of activists, citizens, human rights defenders and policymakers from across Europe. Together, we will reflect on our journey, strategize for the future, and draw inspiration from one another to continue building a more just and inclusive world for the LGBTQ-community!


What to Expect:

  • engaging panel discussions and interactive workshops,
  • celebrating the history and achievements of LGBTQ communities and human rights defenders,
  • a strong emphasis on best practices from successful human rights campaigns in Central and Eastern Europe,
  • a meaningful space to build cross-border solidarity, foster alliances, and amplify voices that are too often left out of the conversation

  • LGBTQ rights and EU enlargement,
  • building an EU of equality,
  • democracy, rule of law, and civic engagement
  • tools, tactics, and case studies in the fight for equality,
  • behind the scenes of successful LGBTQ campaigns from Central and Eastern Europe
  • the role of municipalities in protecting the LGBTQ-community


Conference Schedule:

  • June 25: Keynote speeches, welcome reception
  • June 26: Panel Discussions with experts, activists and policymakers
  • June 27: Practical Workshops


Ticket prices:

All ticket categories are valid for all three days of the conference.

  • Discounted tickets: for students, pensioners and anyone who cannot afford the normal ticket price due to any financial problem: 1990 HUF (~ 5 EUR)
  • Normal ticket: 7990 HUF (~20 EUR)
  • Supporter ticket: if you want to come not only to the conference, but also to support the work of Budapest Pride. By purchasing a supporter ticket, you contribute to our future conferences: 19.990 HUF (~50 EUR)


Presenters and participants will be coming from more than 10 European countries. Be a part of this incredible international event!

The conference will be in English. Hungarian interpretation will be available during the panel discussions. The venue and its bathrooms are wheelchair-accessible. Participants automatically agree to the Budapest Pride events’ house rules: https://budapestpride.hu/.../a-budapest-pride.../


Participation may be denied to those who have previously violated the Budapest Pride house rules, even after purchasing a ticket. In this case, we will not be able to refund the ticket price.
