The goal of the ceramic camp is the communal paraphrasing and re-production of the 'neolithic hombar' - a 5,000-year-old grain storage vessel - exhibited in the Tapolca City Museum, and the individual production of ceramic works inspired by the shapes of the area using the pit-fired pottery technology. We invited young ceramist and local history professionals to contextualize, inspire and provide the needed knowledge to create. Our guest will be István Kovács, who restored the 94 cm high hombar himself in 1984.
